A balanced wine with an inviting and fresh acidity, our Chianti Classico is characterized by notes of black fruit, ripe tannins and a touch of flavor. The finish is dry and savory with a pleasant persistence.
About the producer:
The grapes are selected for the first time by our harvesters in the vineyard, then upon their arrival in the cellar they go through a double sorting, of the bunches first and then of the berry.
The winemaking takes place in concrete tanks at a controlled temperature, filled by gravity, gently accompanying the grapes into the tank, without using mechanical pumps that corrupt the integrity of the grape. Maceration lasts up to a month, with pumping over and decanting to extract and purify. The wine then ages for 12 months in a mix of large Slavonian oak barrels and raw concrete tanks. Once in the bottle, the wine is left to age for 6 months.
