About the producer: Originally set up during the Soviet era, Krasna Hora’s first vines were planted in the 1960s. Since that time, there have been numerous updates and changes, with the current winery operating according to biodynamic principles and small-scale production methods. Their focus is on international grape varieties such as Pinot Noir and Riesling, which grow well in this cool-climate region. The name of the winery translates to ‘beautiful mountain’, in reference to the mountainous surroundings of the estate.
