Rias Baixas, Spain

Made from Albariño grown in iron-rich granite soil referred to locally as xabre. The wine is bright and refreshing. Zesty acidity is balanced by wonderful breadth on the palate, with notes of ripe peach, limes and white blossom, rounded out by a sea-breeze salinity and steely minerality lingering on the finish.
