Comparable to a Chablis in character, and grown in a part of Burgundy close to the region of Chablis, the careful farming of this lesser-known grape has brought out a level of concentration not often seen in Aligoté. 

About the producer: Located in in the Auxerrois, an area between Chablis and the Cote-de-Nuits, Goisot is a producer that delivers value beyond its lesser-known appellation. The viticulture is certified biodynamic, which defies the challenging climate of the region, proving that their wines are made with a focus on quality rather than commerciality. In the winery there is minimal intervention, with natural yeasts, a long, slow elevage, minimal fining and filtration, resulting in wines with verve and a strong sense of place.
