Intense garnet red colour with ruby hues. It displays typical varietal characteristics of Cabernet Franc. Very complex aroma and flavour of dry plums, forest undergrowth, wild leather, tobacco and pepper. A rich, full body with an exceptionally long aftertaste and pleasing freshness.

About the producer: Zmago Petrič's family winery in Vipavska Dolina, Slovenia, is committed to organic and biodynamic practices, focusing on indigenous grape varieties and environmental respect. This 100% Cabernet Franc from the Vipava Valley undergoes a four-week maceration of crushed grapes, spontaneous fermentation with native yeast, and malolactic fermentation. The wine matures for one year in used oak barriques and is bottled following the Maria Thun moon calendar with minimal sulfur addition. It is a vegetarian, vegan, organic, and biodynamic wine, showcasing the winery's dedication to sustainable and mindful winemaking.
