Armas de Guerra Godello 2018
Bottle size: 75cl
Winemaking: 3 months on lees
Made using grapes from 55-year-old bush vines, this variety is often referred to as the mid-point between Riesling and Chardonnay. Ripe & fresh.
About the producer: The Armas de Guerra winery was established in 1879, making it the oldest winery in the region of Bierzo, with a long history of innovation and a large land holding. The name of the winery translates to ‘weapons of war’, reflecting the never-ceasing battle to maintain a healthy vineyard – successful enough for some of the vines to be over 50 years old.
